He Is Risen!

He Is Risen!

He is Risen!

The Lord is risen indeed!

Easter Sunday is always such a festive and wonderful day for those of us who have walked with Jesus through the last week of his life. Easter is the day that we celebrate, not just life, but new life that has been born out of death – and in fact is our assurance that death does not win.

In a world where fear and hate seem all too present celebrating the risen Christ is our best hope to reconnect with the world that our God has gifted to us; a world of love and of life, a world of beauty and of grace.

During this precious time of Easter celebration I invite you to find that beauty in all places and all people. Take the time to see, really see, to connect, really connect, to form new relationships and to rekindle old relationships. Pause, even if for a moment, and gaze upon this world with eyes of hope and hearts filled with love and expectation.

On this day we have a new day.

I pray for your new beginning as I ask for you to pray for mine.
