Don’t miss our first fall concert featuring popular recitalist and acclaimed concert organist, John Renke. A native of “the City by the Bay,” Mr. Renke has held positions with some of San Francisco’s most prestigious churches, including Grace Cathedral, St. Mary’s Cathedral, St. Ignatius Church at the University of San Francisco, St. Dominic’s Church and the National Shrine of Saint Francis of Assisi, as well as St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park. Today he can be found at Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland as the Pastoral Associate for Divine Worship and Operations, as well as their organist. Whether serving as conductor, composer, organist, liturgist or teacher, Mr. Renke is passionate about his art and performs frequently with chamber and symphonic ensembles in the Bay Area. St. Paul’s is proud and pleased to welcome this renowned performer.
