Since the 1990s, the people of St. Paul’s have prepared food boxes for families in need. We collect specific non-perishable food items and then (the fun part!) box those items. The boxes then go to Contra Costa Interfaith Coalition (CCIC) who, with the help of county social workers, distribute the boxes to families struggling with food insecurity. We’ll begin collecting items for our next round of Food Boxes on April 21 following the 7:30 and 9:30 services. It’s an easy way to help our neighbors and a fun project for the whole family!
The boxing of collected food is scheduled for May 19, so mark your calendars!
