It is with great pleasure and long-awaited joy that St. Paul’s introduces our new associate rector, the Rev. Lynne Sharp, TSSF (Third Order, Society of St. Francis).
A native of Rochester, NY, Lynne comes to St. Paul’s with a background in chemical dependency counseling prior to her call to Ordination. A graduate of the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in 2008, Lynne served as an Associate at St. Aidan’s, San Francisco, Grace Cathedral, and St. Paul’s in Burlingame before returning to New York and serving as Rector at St. James in Hammondsport for seven years.
On the home front, Lynne has two daughters, a son-in-law, and four grandchildren, all of whom live in the Rochester area. During her downtime, she enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests that include hiking, gardening, reading, knitting, and yoga.
Lynne brings a wealth of experience and a treasure trove of knowledge that will serve our parish well and help bring us to new heights.
Please join us in welcoming Rev. Lynne, who joins our St. Paul’s community on September 1.
