St. Paul’s is pleased to announce an enriching collaboration with a service-oriented local nonprofit that is joining our campus this month. Please welcome Noble Learning Academy (NLA), a private middle school that will use various classroom spaces at St. Paul’s for the next year.
This partnership with NLA reinforces St. Paul’s guiding principle as the light and love of Walnut Creek, and supporter and friend to our nonprofit community. It also gives us an opportunity to replace the income lost with the departure of Open Door and Sts. Peter and Paul, and is vital to support our various ministries and financial obligations.
With the arrival of NLA students, our campus will enjoy an infusion of youthful energy guided by a school philosophy and spirit that aligns closely with ours.
“We could not be more excited to be a part of St. Paul’s campus and community,” says Cassie Hull, Director of and teacher at Noble Learning Academy. “Our school is focused on individualized academic education, enriching life skills classes, building our classroom community, and service to others. Each day we strive to support one another in a joy-filled, empathetic, and creative environment.” She adds that prior to coming to NLA, many of their students were simply not flourishing in the larger public-school environment. “When they transitioned to NLA with smaller class sizes, more engaging lessons, and an opportunity to connect with their teachers, they blossomed.”
She continues,” As the director and one of the teachers, I bring not only 30 years of middle school teaching experience but also a handful of dynamic and engaging educators who are equally as passionate about guiding our students through these more challenging years. Thank you for welcoming us to your community!”
And we share her enthusiasm (as illustrated in this video by Lisa Bell Stewart). Please join us as we prepare to greet our pending new arrivals!
